The Next Great War Essay

“The next Great War” World War II is the bloodiest and largest war in all history five years of fighting 1939-1945. The Axis powers against the Allies, Japan, Germany, and Italy were the Axis powers and Great Britain, Soviet Union, France, and the United Sates which tried to avoid on joining the war which later on the U.S ended up join the war.

The cause of the war was Germany they trigged World War II they made this all happen by just invading Poland that was the outbreak of the war. On September 1939 was when France and Britain had declared war on Germany because of the invasion of Poland. Treaty of Versailles had a big part of why World War II broke out because the Germans did not like it they were unhappy the Treaty of Versailles

Later on the United States passed an act called the Lend-Lease Act this help the U.S get in involved in the war by not fighting in it. We were making money by selling military supplies to China, Britain, and Soviet Union and this helped the U.S. get out of the Great Depression with the act.

The United States finally joins World War II in December 7, 1941 the attack on Pearl Harbor was what changed the U.S. mind on joining. Japan attacks Perl Harbor, Hawaii ending up killing 2,300 men there was 361 warplanes from Japan attacks America. Congress approves and the United States finally enters the war and tree days later Italy and Germany declares war on the United States right away.

The home front America was not prepared to go to war they did not have enough of military supplies. The war lighten up America it united them once again million of volunteers help they started to produce more food supplies, make tanks and plains, and make war supplies. All America had a part in the home front they were changing everything how people dressed people were collecting all the mettle they can
