Ebenezer Scrooges’ Hero’s journey
A Christmas Carol is a about a greedy person how is listed by a friend and that tells him that he is gonna be visited by different spirits and it followers Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey. This book was written in the victorian era and had an impact on the story because in this era it showed the separation of the people based on the amount of money u had.

Introduction 1) The story A Christmas Carol takes place in the British somewhere. a) The era that it take place is in the Victorian Era which was from 1837 – 1901. b) There was the rich people, middle class, then poor people. c) The theme or moral of this story is that that its not to late to change.

Step Two: 2) The call to Adventure: Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by his old work partner and friend that is in chains tell him that he could be in chains like him unless he listens to him a) his friend tells him of 3 different spirits that will visit him b) As well as that this could be his one and only chance to change. Step Three/Step Four: 3/4) Refusal of the Call/Meeting the Mentor: Ebenezer Scrooge refuses to listen to him. a) He choses not to listen to him and and the he is visited by the ghost of christmas past and this is the first mentor but he still doesn't change that much or really seem to care. b) After that he is visited by the ghost of christmas present and he starts to see whats going to happen that day and how much fun people are having on christmas.
