The novel "The PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER" is a story describing the life of a teenager boy. The perks of being a wall flower was written by American writer Stephen Chbosky which was first published on February 1, 1999, by Pocket books. The narrator briefs about the life of the teenager boy also known as Charlie in the story. The narrator act as an introvert teenager for the story. As already mentioned in the title, the story talks about the life of the boy : Charlie in 1990's . The narrator opens up the story by telling about the Charlie as he was a introvert character to the story and was not very open-up to everybody. His death made him more alone. He was in a depression of his friend's death mean while his aunt also died , this pushed him into more depression. The boy did not interact with anybody. Those were the last days of his middle school days and the beginning of the high school days. He was still scared as he did not had any friend and was weak at making friend too. He also felt that maybe people are less interested being his friend or interacting with him which also de motivated him a lot in his life. Later his life in high school began. Early days were as usual boring only but after few days he got two of his seniors as his best friends named Sam and Patrick. Both were senior to him but accepted him for whatever he was. He too started enjoying and company. Slowly steadily three of them started attending parties together and this led Charlie to meet and have more of new friends. In couple of days Charlie had a hand full of friend which he always wanted. But good and bad things come hand in hand. He got friends which he always wanted
