This ministry project is being created to provide healing to the hurt and the pain of people experiencing compound losses in everyday life. This project will match dedicated people to assist victims of crises, bereavement, and hospitalization. These constituents suffering during the unfortunate time will be helped by knowing the support and love of the Bethlehem Christian Church well-developed communication team. This project has been put together to bring immediate attention to the Body of Christ of newly developed crises within the church. The approach consists of organizing a well-thought-out Policy and Procedure Plan which addresses the social, emotional, behavior, family, and/or mental and physical needs. The community is predominately African American living below poverty level, some with high school and college education, employed, cohabiting, married, divorced, and single parent homes. In addition, drugs, alcohol, gambling, inappropriate behaviors, clubs, and same sex relationship. Nevertheless, people can recover and can take advantage of resources offer through the church. With the church involvement, victims are not abandoned. The church, then, relates to the upset of the families, school, community and financial stress. Many people of the crisis need reassurance to avoid depression, self-destruction, anxiety, poor-decision making, social isolation, conflicts, and losing faith in God. The purpose of the Policy and Procedure Plan will help with the solution of casting down thoughts by having an open line of effective communication. Each volunteer will understand the importance of having a caring spirit when comforting victims. The volunteers will have learned and studied method of communicating in a crisis. The objective is to modify the disturbance of phone calls, questions, and crowds of people unconsciously aware of the overwhelming situation. In Chapter Two, after the introduction, volunteers will be given a layout of training modules to follow in cooperation with victims of the crisis. Each training module has its own learning objective as well as exercise to help execute proper communication. Time spent in learning these different modules will navigate the needs being met at a life of turbulence.
