It all started with a small girl named Piper McCloud. One day Mrs. McCloud took Piper to the baseball game. Piper was out in the field and another kid hit a high ball so Piper flew up and caught the ball. She was so happy that she did three backflips in a row. The crowd stood in silence and just stared at Piper in shock. Piper’s parents immediately rushed her home and sent her to her room for the night. In the morning, Piper woke up to loud news reporters surrounding her house trying to interview her. Out of nowhere a large helicopter appeared and an agent came out of the helicopter. The agent said there was a place with more people like Piper that have special abilities. He wanted to take Piper there to live there forever. So Piper packed her bags and left. Piper was the one who saved everyone from the underground school. Piper always wanted to help her classmates in school; she never wanted to do any harm to anyone even when she got bullied for being different. Piper never left anyone behind and would always look at the bright side of bad situations. Piper was affected by Dr. Hellion in the book because Dr. Hellion would always try to stop Piper from escaping the school. Antagonist character analysis Dr. Hellion was the antagonist who liked to torture kids. She gave the children shots that would make them forget how to use their abilities. Dr. Hellion would try to convince Piper and her classmates to stay at the school so she could make all of the kids normal. However, all the kids wanted to do was put their abilities to good use. Dr. Hellion also put Piper in a body shaped box that would slowly get tighter and tighter onto Piper’s skin so that it would suffocate Piper. My
