Progressive Era The progressive Era was the time in which there were different solutions to the economic, social and political problems industrialization which was introduced to America. All first progressive started as a social movement and after sometimes it grew into a political movement. Social Darwinism was one of the early progressive that was rejected , they believed that most of the problems the society faced was from poverty,violence,greed,racism and education. They believed that the best way to solve the problem was to provide a safe environment,more job opportunity and also provide a good education.Ida Tarbel,Jacob Ruii,Jane Addams and other journalist did a very good jobs in fighting for the rights of the people.
Education was one of the problem before the progressive era.Education was a social and political reform during this time period.All the student in the early 19s attended public schools ,most of the students were educated up to the level they needed in life.Women especially were educated up to primary school lever while white males went to school longer for more education up to their teenage years in order to be a skill worker or a business man.
