Unprecedented powers, cabinet vocations, and bureaucratic government positions are added with every new administration. Established in Article II, Section 2 of the US Constitution, the Cabinet began as a four-man position; now 15 distinct cabinet members are approved by Congress
The Minister and DHS rely heavily on the relationship being a two-way communication. The Chief of Staff acts as the Minster’s buffer, every idea that is to be presented to the Minister has been given due consideration firstly by an Adviser and then the Chief of Staff prior to it reaching the Minister. The liaison between the Office and DHS assists both parties to understand any key issues that may prevent a proposal moving

The Cabinets are part of the executive branch and they helped advise the President. The four executive departments were departments
From 1861-1864, the Postmaster General was Montgomery Blair. Gideon Welles was the Secretary of the Navy from 1861-1865. The Secretary of the Interior from 1861-1862 was Caleb B. Smith. Many presidents unknowingly chose members who argued which unintentionally brought a sense of diversity. Lincoln chose members who regularly argued because he saw their intelligence and
The Constitution left it up to the President to decide whether or not he needed to appoint more people to help him, and George Washington took this statement to mean that he could create an official group of expert advisors to help him make important decisions on, or when he needed political advice. In order for the President to establish a cabinet, he must tell the Senate of who he is planning to appoint, and then the Senate must confirm
SGA Secretary is a vital role in the student government cabinet. It’s a job that requires the responsibility of organization, hard work, and a lot of dedication, and I am just the right person for this role. From the moment I arrived at MAST Academy, I knew I wanted to become more involved and becoming secretary will allow me to do just that. As an NJHS member, I consistently spend time in leadership roles and try to make this school an even better place than it is already. As an SGA secretary, I will strive to continue to make improvements in the school for every student at MAST.
There have been many departments created by the United Congress, from the first three departments in 1789 and so on. Mostly these departments were created to take over some part of duties, which Congress could not handle all on their own. But we shall be focusing on one department right now, which is the Department of Interior. We will go over the history of how it all started, the purpose of the department, and the duties which it takes on in our nation's government. Let us begin our examination of the Department of Interior, as well find some interesting facts about the department.
Federal Judges and Supreme Court Justices The process for electing a federal judge is both a simple, yet complicated one. A number of things take place between the need for a nominee and the appointment to a position. The basis for the nomination and appointment of federal judges and Supreme Court Justices is the Appointments Clause (Article II, Section 2, Clause 2) of the United States Constitution: “The President...shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law....” First a vacancy must be present at which time the President can make a nomination.
Boom! The door slams down, agents are rushing in the room yelling “put your hands up”! The suspect yells “don’t shoot” and drops his gun onto the floor. Today being a federal agent is very dangerous. Just think at what you see on the news about federal agents.

Divided government occurs when one political party controls the presidency and another controls one or both houses of Congress. The struggle between parties can create significant issues for the government, including the appointment of judges and high officials and the creation of effective problem-solving legislation. Divided government creates an issue for the president in making federal appointments. The president has the constitutional power to nominate ambassadors, judges, and high officials, but these nominees are subject to Senate confirmation. When the government is divided the president and the Senate are of different political parties, this creates a problem in the appointment of these positions.
Although it seems somewhat unusual I see no apparent reason why our formal strata council roles of President and Secretary cannot be carried out by the same person. While the SP Act dictates that four council officers must be elected, the specific duties of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer are not defined in the Act, Regulation or in our By-laws with the only directive being that president and vice president titles not be held by the same individual. In other organizations, corporate environments and strata councils within my experience, duties allocated to officer's roles customarily arise from an underlying Robert's Rules styled template, but in the unique absence of such expectation I'm perfectly content, not-to-say
With ministers, the leader is the only ruler in the country and therefore, ministers will remain loyal to the ruler since he is the one who selects them. “Either by a prince, with a body of servants, who assist him to govern the kingdom as, ministers by his favor and permission … do not bear him any particular affection.” (Machiavelli 16) Ministers are picked by the leader of the territory, and that by picking ministers; it causes the citizens to hold their prince with more consideration. Machiavelli and the United States Constitution clearly disagree on this policy since Machiavelli argues there should be more control in how government is run. That's not the way the Founding Fathers wanted this country to run since it limits the people's power in
The Senate is almost similar to the House of Representative, but has two roles that are different, President of Senate and president Pro Tempore. The President of Senate is the Vice President’s job. He or she doesn’t vote unless there is a tie. The President Pro Tempore job is to take over for the President of Senate if he or she isn’t present. The best part about Congress is that they have care about what the people ay and care about protecting the freedom of everyone that lives in the United States.
