Even science, at this point, can only postulate what answers these questions may hold. However, as science begins to develop, the possibility of finding answers continues to create a gravitational pull like a planet may. With so many eyes on the field and a lack of scientific proof, literature and movies in the genre of science-fiction, or more commonly known as sci-fi, explores ideas of the future commonly by expressing a widespread fear. These fears can range from a fear of annihilation to fear of loss of control or even simply to a fear of the unknown. The sci-fi movie Europa Report (2013) decided to rise to the challenge of answering the question of what’s out there.
This has become a greater issue with the continued discovery of valuable natural resources like nickel, platinum, and even water on asteroids and other celestial bodies in space. Article 1 in the Outer Space Treaty dictates that exploration
The New World was an uncharted venture that was full of potential for the European countries. People of any type of station, the wealthy, poor and servants could find the chance to make a new life for themselves. American history between the 1600’s and 1750’s was emanating with opportunity for those under religious persecution, the poor who sought wealth and servants that dreamed of freedom. The New world offered the needed opportunities that the British subjects and other ethnicities wanted to obtain so they could seek a better life for themselves. The New World increased these new prospects for those in need for religious freedom, for others to gain wealth and expand their power and wealth.
Is the Age of Exploration more beneficial or more harmful to the world? Did you know Christopher Columbus never once stepped foot in the present-day United States? But he did indeed spark what we call the “Age of Exploration”. There were three motives for the Age of Exploration: to spread Christianity, find new wealth, and earn more glory for their country. As a result, the Age of Exploration brought harm to both people and the world of its time.
In 1492, Italian explorer Christopher Columbus was determined to find a way to Asia by sailing west. Instead, during his exploration travels, Christopher Columbus stumbled upon the Americas. The Americas that were discovered on that day in 1492 were a far contrast from the Americas that we know today. Since then, interactions resulting from European exploration have affected diverse countries around the world all in the name of “God, Glory and Gold”.
Do you think that we humans should leave the earth and Colonize mars? Well, I think that Humans should colonize mars because the earth is too populated and it’s being destroyed by lots of things like pollution and global warming. By colonizing mars humans would get a fresh new start so we won’t have to colonize another planet in the future. Some reasons why we should colonize mars is to discover new forms of life, safety planet in case we destroy our planet (earth), and we can push the limits of our technology capabilities. Some reasons why we shouldn’t move to mars is because it’s too dangerous, it costs too much money (20+ billion dollars), and that we have bigger problems on earth that we need to take care.
Creating a Mars colony by the private organization from the perspective of the Space law In 1957 USSR launched its first satellite “Sputnik 1” which was moving around the Earth, that triggered the great development of the space industry and the Space law. It was agreed that the state’s territory must be limited to some extent in the height. Before, it was considered that everything what was on the territory of the state, regardless of its position in the space falls under the state’s jurisdiction. That kind of boundaries limited the area artificial object could move, as it had to ask all the time for the permission to cross the boundary. After the Space Race started it was clear that there should be some limitations in order to promote peaceful usage of Space.
Did you ever look up at the sky and wonder if we are alone in the universe, well, probably yes, but that does not mean we can’t explore space? The earth is home to 7.5 billion people, growing rapidly by the minute. Humans are soon going to run out of resources for the growing population, which is why, to solve this solution we should colonize mars. Now you might ask how would we be able to live on Mars when no other life lives there.
“We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity. Anything you can imagine we already know how to do.” There is plenty of evidence available to suggest that we are not alone in the universe, and that technology, within the black budget world, could be thousands if not millions of years ahead of the mainstream world! The extraterrestrial presence in our universe, and even that which is evident on our planet, is becoming more and more of an accepted reality as the droves of evidence continues to mount in the form of government released documents, amateur video, witness testimonies from citizens, military and more.
Once upon a time, a group of foreign explorers made an extensive journey to a new world in hopes of finding a direct water route west from Europe to Asia. After many months of travel, the explorers finally washed ashore onto a foreign land. Upon their arrival, the adventurers were greeted by the natives of this new territory, who, never seeing anything like them before, emerged from their homes to give the explorers food, water, and other gifts. Greedy and power-hungry, the foreigners realized that this New World was full of valuable treasures that they could steal and exploit to bring new merits to their homeland. They seized this territory, its people, and all its riches.
Science Fiction has been exploring the concept of space travel to other planets for years, and now it’s finally becoming reality, but now there’s a question to be asked, should we colonize Mars? As time goes by, there is surely a discussion and journey ahead. Mars is the planet most like Earth, its similar surface and existence of water makes it the topic of human colonization. Elon musk’s SpaceX, as well as Mars One, began working on getting to Mars since 2011 and they are working to get a human colony on Mars by 2035. We should most definitely colonize Mars because moving people to mars would help the state of Earth, Mars yields many resources and exploring Mars could shed light on many concepts.
One reason we need to colonize mars’ is because of potential disasters. Imagine being on a planet that is progressively getting hotter, and hotter, and hotter- until one day it explodes. Well soon enough you will not have to imagine that absolutely terrifying image because it will soon be our reality. Climate change is an extremely scary but real situation. Quite frankly, we have to be prepared for the worst.
Introduction The world has seen a lot, but space exploration has had the most significant effect on the world since sugar. The space race and things like the Sputnik change the way the world thinks. While space exploration can be very expensive, space exploration has had the greatest effect on the world because it has exponentially changed the world in education, culture, global challenges, and has created life changing innovations for many people. The thought of "discovery" and "exploration" Space exploration has been the best thing since sugar because it brought the world together.
We have reached space. Our own moon and within the next fifty years, Mars, one of our neighboring planets. Why haven’t extraterrestrial life contacted our advanced species? We aren’t advanced enough. If aliens could reach our planet, they would have to be extremely advanced and intelligent, more so than us.
Age of Exploration was a period of time from thousands of years ago, during which European ships were traveled around the world searching for trading routes and partners to help Europe. Lands were used to maintain foods and keep them from spoiling. Lands, however, were expensive and dangerous to get. Traders had to travel from a land route from Europe to Asia to get them. Europeans were desperate to get lands from Asia.
