We’re putting so much effort into exploring space and discovering new planets, but we should be exploring our own planet
Something that had one of the biggest impacts on the world as it is today is colonization. There’s no way that the world we live in would be the same without it. From colonization, a multitude of good things came out of it, such as wealth for many nations, new land discovered, and colonies established. However, all of those things came at a price to others. The negatives of colonization affected the Native Americans (North, South, and Central America) and the Africans.
Deep into The Reality of Life Is there a life beyond earth? What is the mystery in space? Where do dead people go? If God exists what is the nature of God? The author of Life on Mars, Tracy K. Smith deals with these confusing and puzzling relationships of human existence with the universe.
Doeden explains in this paragraph the other options for spending over 100 billion dollars on the space adventure to Mars. Although this is a massive step in human advancement, there are other problems humans need to take care of before humans abandon Earth. He gives examples that would make more sense in the state of the world today and the economic state of the country. Some of his examples included: paying off some of the national debt, using the money for the furtherment of the educational system, and researching renewable resources.
Linda Billings in Space Colonization talks about how every generation of people on Earth has evolved to Earth-like conditions and how we struggle to adapt to the changing conditions on Earth. This expresses the idea that colonizing a different body in space would become even more difficult because it could simply be too hard on our bodies. Mars as a Backup Planet states “the implication and belief by some that Mars will be there to save us from the self-inflicted destruction of the only truly habitable planet we know of, the Earth.” This quotation tells us that we have no evidence that any planet, moon, or other body in space is habitable, so all the money, manpower, and energy being spent on space exploration could be for nothing, if space really is infinite we would never know if a place in space was habitable. To summarize, we don’t know if any place in space is habitable so we shouldn’t explore
In the essay titled, “Why Mars could be humanities last stop in space exploration,” Konrad Dobschuetz theorizes that once humanity reaches Mars, and establish a base of operations, that all drive and motivation for space exploration would evaporate. He stated that, our drain of motivation would stem from three focal points; Time is money, lack of alien contact and, a mass extinction event on planet earth. For the first point, Time is money, he reasoned that once we were to establish a foot hold on Mars that our pioneers would focus too much on survial rather than space exploration or science. He also stated that, “A human can only be a scientist and explorer if there are resources to support and time as well as space to think, study, reflect and imagine.” (Paragraph 4), and that support from the earth would slowly fall off if the project failed to provide any astonishing scientific break throughs or any monetary value to gain from Martian resources.

1.Cory Brunish doubts the necessity of exploring Mars, for those huge amounts of money could have been used in other more profitable and benevolent projects like projects about fighting against fatal diaereses and solving social problems.(Brunish, 2004 p9) 2. Speed is essential in Mars, for the space trip is actually torturing and fatal, because in the space astronauts have been exposed in the harmful space radiation, and the lack of the protection of earth’s magnetic field worsen astronauts’ situation.(Kluger, 2004 p42) 3. Cousteau states that Antarctic is indispensable, for it moderates earth’s climates. It cools both surface water’s and atmosphere’s temperatures. However, human activities has threaten this delicate system.(Cousteau, 1990,p17)
Colonization of North America The United States is built mainly on the foundation and the hardships of Great Britain, Spain, and France. Each country sailed a crossed the Atlantic Ocean, not for the same reasons, to try and take over what is now North America. Each government took its own tactics to try get the best colonies. There were pros and con to all of the different efforts made by these country’s government.
We cannot all go to the Mars, and if we go there, what’s next? We all
By settling on mars scientists would be able to run tests and observe if there was or if there are any life forms that exist beyond earth. Mars is said to have once been similar to earth with evidence found on its surface, the recent discovery of slow moving water on Mars has lead scientists to believe that there is a greater promise of finding life beyond earth, therefore, by going to Mars will provide humans the evidence to whether life on mars
Colonizing Mars Mars is often voted by people as being the most likely place for humans to colonize after we are done with Earth. This is often said because of Mars’s similar size to Earth and similar climate. However, Mars might not be the best place to go when we decide to make our first extra-terrestrial home. Whether you believe we should colonize another planet or not, evidence proves that moving to Venus is both logical and cost effective. There is much more promise in visiting Venus and much more we can learn.
High school citizenship can tell a lot about a person. Citizenship for me was really good. I have not got into any trouble during my four years. I have no calls home, steps and referrals during the four years. I always stayed focused on school because I know that it is very important.
If Nasa and the Federal Government put more money towards space travel and development we could go to Mars or even farther. Space travel is worth all the research, resources, and time. Space travel takes an abundance of time and it is worth it. Gravity
