Introduction
Science can benefit from both settling and visiting Mars, however, by settling on Mars the scientific field will benefit more than if people were just to visit Mars. Settling would be for people to travel to Mars and create a stable lifestyle and maintain and build homes that would last for a perennial amount of time. By settling on Mars this will increase the time that scientists can have to carry out and experiments. This would not only allow scientists to carry out experiments and send reports back to earth but will also allow scientists to observe how humans adapt in the harsh climate and the lack of a strong gravitational field. Visiting Mars would mean that scientists would travel to Mars carry out some experiments and then

By settling on mars scientists will be able to find out the cause of the devastation and be able to conduct experiments that can help people on earth prevent the same consequences from occurring on earth, however, if they were to visit mars these experiments and results would not be the same due to the lack of time on mars.
Answer the question “is there any other life in the universe?”
The belief, by many scientists, that there is bacterial life on Mars due to the examining of rocks and the surface of mars. This could ultimately answer one of mankind’s biggest questions whether humans are the only life forms in the universe. By settling on mars scientists would be able to run tests and observe if there was or if there are any life forms that exist beyond earth. Mars is said to have once been similar to earth with evidence found on its surface, the recent discovery of slow moving water on Mars has lead scientists to believe that there is a greater promise of finding life beyond earth, therefore, by going to Mars will provide humans the evidence to whether life on mars
