Currently, the Council Bluffs population is paying over 30% of their monthly income towards housing, 30% being recognized as the max housing payment which is considered affordable (MBJ). Now let's imagine if you were a part of that 30%. Barely getting off of work with your family hungry at home waiting for you to arrive. Home values and household income seem to be drifting farther and farther apart with no signs of stopping, and the housing crisis is here to stay in the U.S. and Council Bluffs.
