After nearly fifty days in the White House, President Trump has done an excellent job. On his second day in office he vowed to destroy the Islamic State, and on his ninth day he fulfilled his promise of a 5 year-ban on officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government, and a lifetime ban on White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government, which was a promise kept. (foxnews.com) My favorite quote by my President Trump is “My policy is to learn from the past, focus on the present, and dream about the future. " I think that this quote describes him perfectly as a president.
Building a border around yourself trying to shield yourself from illegal aliens who for the most part benefit the country and due their equal share should not be chastised and touted as that countrie's biggest problem. Rhetoric like that is very dangerous and adds to the division of a populace that should work together for the betterment of all, not just the few. As you all should know, I am writing about Donald Trump, the reason I chose to base my thread around him is because I feel his views are outlandish and incredibly self-serving. He is running for president because of his ego, and that ego will lead this country to a much far worse place than we perceive we are
The Republican Party was founded in 1854, by anti-slavery activists and members of the Whig Party, and it is referred as Grand Old Party or GOP. The Republican Party is known in supporting issues, such as, socially conservative policies, free market capitalism, opposing regulation and labor unions. During the history there have been eighteen Republican U.S. Presidents, but in this essay I am going to focus on only six of them divided into two periods of time; three Republican presidents of 1920s and the first three Republican presidents elected after World War II. The first three presidents of the 1920s period of time are named Warren Harding, Calving Coolidge, and the last one Herbert Hoover. A similarity between these three Republican presidents
Donald Trump will destroy this country if he’s elected President. This Presidential Campaign has proven it. He’s a reality television host not the person that should be our next President. All of his “qualities” are perfect examples on why he shouldn’t be President. Trump is not suited to be the next president.
If Donald Trump wins the Presidential election, I believe that first two substantive issues he will prioritize on his agenda will be breaking and shelving the Iran nuclear deal and containing the spread of what he calls “radical Islam.” Currently, Iran has a large stockpile of uranium and over 20,000 centrifuges which can make at least 8 nuclear bombs, one every 2/3 months. In response to Iran’s nuclear program, the UN, US and the EU emplaced nuclear-related sanctions on Iran, crippling its economy. The deal orders Iran to reduce it’s of uranium by 98 percent and maintain the uranium enrichment at a level drastically below what it needs to make a bomb, and in return, the UN, US and EU will remove its sanctions, allowing Iran to gain access
Honestly, I am not friendly with politics, and I don’t really want to know a lot about it because I know it contains complexity in a lot of factors:money, as a common example. Likewise, this article I just read told me about how Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate in 2016 election, took over the control of entire party. Some different thing about it is that it is hard to see this problem as a political corruption in one party;to me, it sounds more as a wrong, but also unavoidable decision made by one party. And I think Hillary Clinton, as one of the presidency candidates of United States, received unfair treatment from the party;in the article, the author says, “The agreement—signed by Amy Dacey, the former CEO of the DNC, and Robby Mook
“The Cask of Amontillado” was written by Edgar Allen Poe where the whole story is dark and twisty from beginning to end, including the title. The title can break down into two words, cask and amontillado. A cask is a barrel-like container made of wood, metal, or plastic, used for storing liquids, most likely alcoholic beverages. Amontillado is a specific type of sherry where it originated from Montilla, Spain. This city is part of the Andalucía wine zone where fortified wines are created using the sherry production method.
Illegal immigrants evidently have had the ability to leach off of the American government, due to Obamacare. Illegal immigration is without a doubt one of the most attention needing problems the United States faces. The adversity devised from the jobs that illegal immigrants have apprehended from US citizens is formidable. President Trump has promised that he will reform the immigration laws and following his presidential campaign promise, building a large wall that separates Mexico and The United States. Building the wall reassures the population that we are indeed safe, we are a powerful country and there is no free ride in the land of hope and possibility.
“A nation of nations”, a phrase that always comes out in our mind when we are thinking about America. America is a great nation where many people tolerate with each other. It is a dream of America to live together as a democratic country. Now, America faces a great problem, it’s because a racist has chosen as the leader of this great country. Soon, the dream of democracy will become a nightmare for immigrants, blacks and muslims.
One of America’s most controversial issues today is the border between the United States and Mexico. The big part of the issue is due to illegal immigration, which is when foreigners enter the U.S. without an entry or an immigrant visa. President Trump says he has found a solution, otherwise known as the “border wall,” but this will not stop people from wanting a better life. Of course I get why he and others would want to continue the process obviously to keep us safe from terrorists and other dangers of the world, but, to every pro there is a con. Even though the fence along the U.S./Mexico border is already being built, it should not continue being built because it is expensive, hurts the environment, and immigration rates have significantly dropped.
Donald Trump and his issue with illegal Immigrants. After reading many articles discussing the situation between Donald Trump and the 11 million immigrants in America and trying to understand both sides of this issue, I strongly believe Trump and his insane idea will not be successful. Donald Trump is planning to deport all illegal Immigrants and their children from the United States if he becomes President. He is planning on taking away Birthright citizenship from millions of people who were born in the U.S. from Immigrant parents.
Now President-Elect, Donald Trump, wishes to send illegal immigrants back to their home country. This has created controversy between the candidates in the election as well as the citizens of the United States. A diverse population believes that we should not grant illegal immigrants amnesty because they have broken our immigration laws. Allowing illegal immigrants citizenship is not the rule of American, legal immigration is. However, others believe that it is “inhumane” and “unrealistic” to deport over 11 million immigrants back to the native country when they have families and lives here in the United States.
Republicans believe that undocumented immigrants negatively affect the economy and cause crime in America. Republicans also feel the need to devote resources towards border enforcement in order to ensure that incoming immigrants are unable to illegally enter the United States. Furthermore, an outspoken Republican by the name of Donald Trump has shared his opinions on immigration multiple times, stating that if he becomes elected, he plans to build a wall around the Mexican border and deport 11 million undocumented immigrants within the U.S, who he believes pose a considerable threat to national security. Despite past efforts, political differences between both parties have crushed all hopes of a comprehensive immigration reform policy being met. Until both parties decide to cooperate and work together in order to create a successful immigration policy, the legal rights of millions of immigrants living in the United States will be at
Those who live among poverty and violence look to America and see a wonderful country filled with opportunity. However, in recent months, America has become a laughingstock, a joke. Donald Trump, as well as many conservative Republicans would like to would like to build a wall separating America from Mexico, limit a woman’s choices, and deny current citizens basic psychological and physical assistance. We should work towards building human connections, not walls. Our future president will have the power to implement an immigration policy and make decisions that will effect the immigrants who currently reside within our borders.
Although it seems like building a wall provides increased protection for the country, it is actually inducing inner turmoil. The new policies introduced by the president are normalizing the discrimination between contradictory groups, rather than strengthening our relationship with them. If society continues to resist change, it might also lead to a war that America cannot win. Therefore, it is necessary to have individuals like Noah to help appease the situation. It is nature’s law for all organisms to evolve and adapt to their environment, and humans are no
