Should dress codes,should they even be a thing? Dress codes can actually interfere with amendment. He first amendment is the freedom of speech, assembly, press, petition, and religion. The dress codes violate the freedom of religion and it can be harmful to students. Dress codes can expensive, it limits, and it counts against school. The expenses and limitations differ but, it can go against freedom of religion and expression. Religion is a big deal in America. Most people who live here are Christian but, there’s a lot of others. In some religions women are forbidden to show their faces. The problem with dress codes is that if the school says a hajib cannot be worn at school then they must give up an important factor to their religion.
