The word ‘test tube babies’ has been used in place of ‘children conceived through invitro fertilization’ as it is a more recognisable term amongst people with a non-medical background.
Topic:
A critical analysis of the ethical views around “test tube babies”, of the De La Salle Holy Cross College parents separated by gender.
Hypothesis:
Mothers of De La Salle Holy Cross College will find “test tube babies” less ethical than fathers.
Aim:
The aim of my ORTP research project is to determine whether males or females find “test tube babies” and the procedure less ethical than that of the other gender; and if the results differ due to the individual’s belief system and age.

This article discusses the issues related to the ethical issues regarding IVF babies such as the safety and health of these babies, as well as the ethical issues regarding the embryos which are not used during the IVF procedure. It brings up religion which relates highly to my research question. It also provides tables with facts and figures which are easy to read and understand. This article’s validity isn’t that good as it was published in 2006 which was 8 years ago and many things have changed since then, but it’s still a reliable and useful source as it’s a proper health
