According to the argument, the author claims that the Prunty County should emulate Butler County to improve the conditions of the road to reduce the traffic addident rate. To begin with, although the number of accidents has not decreased, it doesn 't necessarily mean that to lower the speed limitation from 55 to 45 miles per hour is of no use at all. Clearly, the author assumes that the number of accidents is equal to the degree of highway safety. However, how severe are these accidents are not mentioned.

Easterbrook argues that the cause of the deaths can be linked to horsepower and cell phone usage. The author also writes the problem is ignored, because of moral differences and the feeling that the crashes can’t be prevented. Easterbrook also writes that the fatalities are not just limited to the drivers on the road. The author writes about the increased number of fatalities of pedestrians when crossing the streets, which further adds to the argument that the problem needs to be adressed and not ignored like it currently is (1-2).
The poem Beneath the Shadow of the Freeway written by Lorna Dee Cervantes, and the movie Hidden Figures originally a book written by Margot Lee Shetterly both convey the theme of empowerment to hard-working, strong women who can be just as smart and diligent as a man without the actual help of one. Canadian nationality has always been a question clouded with suspicion and a covered with a blanket of doubt. Out of all the different perspectives, and about all the different opinions of what it means to be a canadian, which one can be argued as fact? Are canadians able to develop an easily identifiable sense of nationalism? The major dangers of speeding include the environmental aspect, driving too fast for road conditions, and speeding kills. Driving responsibly is our duty as citizens. We must be defensive in our driving habits. Defensive driving is driving to save lives, time and money, in spite of the conditions around you and the actions of others. Also, defensive driving is the responsibility of everyone who operates a vehicle in our roadway community.
Such errors like driving too fast for conditions,lack of scanning that is needed to detect and respond to hazards,and,being distracted by something inside or outside of the vehicle. Cutting out those critical errors could theoretically could decrease the number of teen driving accidents by seventyfive percent. According to the Governors Highway Safety Association, speeding is the cause for one out of every three fatal car accidents involving teenage drivers. Automated speed cameras could be the solution to the rapidly growing speeding problem.
This means that our governments should invest in redesigning our road, highways and freeways to cope with high speed limits. High speed limits do not mean that our road has become unsafe, but their design is not appropriate for certain new speed limits. Our roads have been the same for many years and have not been updated for decades. In addition to that, the reckless driving, lack of driving and road maturity is causing hundreds of causalities yearly. The drivers on the road lack respect, gratefulness and gratitude to other drivers and that’s why accidents are occurring.

Traffic jam makes it even difficult for people to walk and for some people who have sidewalk-to-sidewalk travel. Too many cars in a big city just makes it difficult for people to walk on a pavement and just get annoyed by the sound of the cars which is also noise pollution.
