Vaping is purportedly one of the best alternatives to cigarette smoking. A good number of former cigarette smokers have made the switch, flocking to shops like MistHub to try out various kits. But, not a lot of vapers have it easy on the first try. As soon as they start puffing on their new gizmos, they cough. It’s quite unfortunate that several people choose to leave vaping altogether just because of that incident.
Electronic cigarette sales reached $2,875,000,000 in 2015, according to Statistic Brain. This site reports that 2.750,000 individuals use e-cigarettes and 29 percent of people who try vaping quit smoking within a six month period. A recent problem developed in society, which is deemed to be “cool”, is called vaping. Originally, it was made to help smokers quit smoking. Although recently we have seen otherwise. As Rebecca J. Frey had written in an article, “Unsurprisingly, the exponential increase in the popularity of e-cigarettes in just a few years has led to calls for government regulation,” (Frey). Frey is saying that because of the very sudden uprise and popularity of e-cigarettes and Vaping caused the government to do something about them.
I struggle daily with foggy vision, a forgetful memory, and coughing. Vapes also serve as an “introductory product for youth who then go on to use other tobacco products” they are easy to use while driving and the good scent left allows teenagers to smoke like a chimney without thinking twice (National Institute). This is dangerous because minors will start something just because it tastes good or because it's cool and they will be stuck with a lifelong addiction that many warn you not to develop. These are all dangerous mixtures because going into the workforce with a foggy brain and an addiction that is nearly impossible will set you up for failure and a hard path of
When thirteen hundred people die from a single cause every day in the United States, there needs to be something drastic done. Cigarettes along with second hand smoke kills more than five-hundred and 20 thousand deaths per year in the United States; something needs to change. As technology advances and the medical science field expands, technology can be used to improve almost every quality of life, but who would’ve thought that it could be applied to a billion dollar industry that has been static for the past two decades. Using modern technology, a new smoking apparatus has been popularized all over the world; electronic cigarettes. These new devices have grown more rapidly than many could anticipate.

Electronic cigarettes are no longer news in many countries because it is already in the market in more 250 different brands and the number of users is increasing tremendously. However, the truth about safety issues of e-cigarettes is not known. Other people claim that the e-cigarettes are a way out to the smokers to help them quit smoking (Eversmoke, n.d.).
E-cigarettes were originally created as an alternative to smoking. America has dealt with tobacco addiction for decades before the tobacco industry’s eventual decline. However, there is a new issue that has become increasingly common recently. Teen vaping is a serious issue that should be addressed immediately. When you hear the word marijuana, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? For some people they think of an era of free love, hippies and good food. For others it could mean the total opposite. Electronic cigarettes were first introduced into the tobacco market in 2003. However, in the last few years, electronic cigarettes have been trending, especially among high school students. According to the Surgeon General study, “In 2015, 1 in 6 high school students reported using e-cigarettes in the last month”. The promotion and production of electronic cigarettes is an issue that must be addressed because they are attracting minors who may have never been addicted to nicotine prior to the introduction of e-cigarettes in the market. Companies have branded e-cigarettes as a ‘safer’ alternative to regular cigarettes, however, it is quite possible that consumers, more specifically the youth, are not well informed of the ingredients in them.

You take a deep breathe in and all of a sudden are stopped mid-breathe by the scent of sour skittles. You look to your left and see a guy vaping, and the vapor coming from his device is eliminating the delicious scent of the bakery. Vaping has become a popular product on the market, but some of the effects it has on the body make it a worse choice than smoking.
