Every generation has that “one athlete” that defies all boundaries and expectations of their respected sport. The player that you pass down stories about to your children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren. The player that you appreciate how privileged you were to be able to watch them play day in and day out and grow with them throughout their careers. For most, these athletes have redefined every facet of the sport they associate with, and for millions of soccer fans around the world, Abby Wambach is the person that has become that athlete. Recently in the light of Wambach announcing her retirement from international soccer, Gatorade released a commercial that was felt around the world by millions.
Lastly Gatorade has been proven to be a better equipped sports drink shown right here,“Gatorade contains 160 milligrams of sodium and 45 milligrams of potassium per serving, while Powerade contains 150 milligrams of sodium and 35 milligrams of potassium per serving. By comparison, Gatorade is slightly superior at replacing lost electrolytes.” As you can see Gatorade is better equipped for athletes proving the point that Gatorade is better than Powerade. In conclusion Gatorade and Powerade are very similar, but Powerade is less equipped for the task unlike Gatorade.

Gatorade isn't just any sports drink but a sports drink that is known for its exquisite taste and excellent job at replacing ones electrolytes. Gatorade is a beverage most enjoy but for athletes it is practically a blessing. The world known drink motivates and pushes its athletes to go above and beyond and to be sure to hydrate as well. However, this caused a lot of controversy on whether the ban was good or bad. Despite the amount of people supporting the ban´s choice, the ban does have some downsides on it. It is not a good idea to limit the amount of a soda a person can purchase (or propose the ban) because it's not applying to all, it's taking rights away from people, and itś not a big deal.
There has been a discussion on whether sports drinks are better than water at replenishing lost electrolytes and fluids while exercising . You always hear in infomercials and magazines on how you have to drink plenty of water in order to continue to do exercise or a sport . Water only keeps you hydrated and replaces the water lost while sweating . Sports drinks on the other hand replace lost electrolytes , quench thirst , keep you hydrated and give you extra energy to help you continue exercising .
