The atomic bomb is a very dangerous weapon that was built on July 16, 1945, during the time of World War II. On August 6, 1945 and August 9, 1945 the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Total of two bombs was dropped one called “Little Boy” and one called “Fat Boy”. The dropping of the bomb was necessary and justified because of many reasons. On the morning of December 7, 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan. This attack made America join World War II and the dropping of the atomic bomb was a revenge to Japan’s attack to Pearl Harbor. At that time the war has been fought for 6 years, many soldiers and civilians are dying because of the war. The first reason of dropping the bomb is the attack on Pearl Harbor. “The Japanese managed to destroy nearly 20 American naval vessels, including eight enormous battleships, and more than 300 airplanes.
