Even though it looked as if all socs would be the same we are met with one of outsiders of the Socs named Cherry.The being an outsider can be a dangerous situation for the members of the rival groups in the novel The Outsiders as demonstrated by Randy Anderson.Randy is talking to pony about the rumble “Oh hell, I know it. Randy half sobbed but what can i do i'm a marked chicken if i punk at the rumble and id hate myself if i didn’t i don't know what to do ”This shows how Randy does not want to fight because he feels conflicted to his group and his heart.
