In the 1980’s when President Regan was president, he had such a personality that he made many Americans to believe his conservative ideas. With that we had periods of economic highs, soaring stock market profits which made a lot of people a lot of money. We had a turning point in the Cold War with the Soviet Union, and also had triumphed in American foreign policies. In 1981 Regan formed a coalition with the conservative Democrats and then passes major tax cuts. The people are happy with what Regan is doing and reelects him again in 1984.
Texas the second most populous state of USA had its political development since its independence from Mexico. Because they were represented as an independent nation, the Republic of Texas, there weren 't any sort of political activities or parties. But during the 18th century, the democratic party came into existence in Texas. They were the most dominant political party and held thier reign until 20th century. They rarley had any competitors against them during those times, sos thye had their control over 60 years of a centruy and rarely had challenges against The Republican party or occasionally against thierd parties known as The Populists.
The Popularity based Republicans were currently the principle party in America, and under James Monroe, the president who took after Madison, the country delighted in the Period of Positive
The Republicans as of today are very different, yet similar to the other,
The Republican Party was committed to restricting the growth of slavery, and its victory in the election of 1860 was the trigger for secession acts by Southern states. The debate before 1860 was mainly focused on the Western territories, especially Kansas and the popular sovereignty controversy. Lincoln was nominated as the Republican candidate for president in the election of 1860. Lincoln was opposed to the expansion of slavery into new areas, but held that the federal government was prevented by the Constitution from banning slavery in states where it already existed. His plan was to halt the spread of slavery, and to offer monetary compensation to slave-owners in states that agreed to end slavery (see Compensated emancipation).
Party strength is a measure of the ability of a party to get people to vote for its candidates. The post-World War II shift in party strength was part of a massive shift in policy over time. Scholars saw Republican politicians increasingly excel at getting elected at the local level (Lublin 2006), to offices in the state (Hayes and McKee 2007), and federal governments (Black and Black 2002, 1992; Shafer and Johnston 2006). It is difficult to see how the Republican Party would have become the majority in Congress in 1994 without the increased voting strength in the South. This marked a dramatic shift in national policy.
Emily Alcantar Independent The American Independent party is a far right political party that the United States established in 1967 by Bill Shearer. Thomas Jefferson once said. “There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties”. The reason he said this was because he feared a strong central government. Then for some Americans, fears of a strong central government taking advantage came true. This is when the two political parties split.
They distrusted the constitution and believed in a strong state government. Republicans were mostly southern farmers who also believed in America to remain a country-side nation of small farmers dedicated to republican values. This political party was known as Jeffersonian Republican because of Jeffersons influence. Jefferson believed in localized state governments held together, untied by a federal government. Democratic Republicans did not trust the national government and they defended states’ rights.
The Republican Party knocked the country off of its foundation, and it introduced a new major political party that would become a mainstay for years to
Republicans and Democrats have very different ideas where it comes to the business environment. Republicans tend to oppose increasing minimum wage where businesses keep costs low so they can prosper and all Americans can have access to services and products. The Democrats favor increasing the minimum wage where Americans have more money to purchase goods and also paid trade restrictions to protect jobs. While Republicans favor free trade in order to keep low costs for consumers and make businesses more profitable so they can

Republicans all over the country are upset about Donald Trump being the republican nominee. Many people have stated that the republicans do not have anyone to blame but themselves. The republicans have elected people to congress who have not done their jobs. Many people have been elected multiple times. Some people also believe that the republicans are one of the reasons that wealth inequality is a major problem in this country.
The GOP support Second Amendment rights, the right to bear arms, to ensure that everyone has the ability to defend themselves not only from criminals, but also from enemies trying to attack. Abortion is not viewed favorably by most Republicans and neither is stem-cell research. The Republicans are also mainly against LGBT marriage rights but not just because they do not agree with the idea, but because they believe the decision should be left to the states. The Democrats are the complete opposite. Democrats try to limit the Second Amendment as much as possible.
When it comes to the Republicans, they are known to be conservative. Political parties fuel the fire of our nation's citizen’s political views.
