The Revolutionary War wasn’t revolutionary because even though the British didn’t have control over the colonies, a lot of ideas and motives stayed the same. Yes the revolutionary war was revolutionary. because of the idea of the people giving power to the government. unlike the one monarch idea that's only been used up to this point in time.
