The evidence, from the 7 eyewitnesses, support that the colonists were the aggressors during the fateful evening of March 5, 1770, the Boston Massacre. Some cited evidence proves it. Number one, “I saw the people throw snowballs at the soldiers and saw a stick 3 feet long strike a soldier upon the right” (Theodore Bliss). In other terms they were assaulting the soldiers with pieces of snow or ice at them, afterward they hit one of them with a 3 foot club. This shows that the soldiers didn’t shoot to murder, they shot in self-defense.
One week ago, the colonist attacked the British. This was a tragic event where the Colonist threw snowballs, clubs, oysters, and chunk of ice. In addition they told us the British,to fire if we dared, so we did but, on accident. Once one of us fired, other British started to. The colonist protested that they were unarmed but they really had many items that could kill.
In this event, the British soldiers clearly felt threatened and the colonists were instigating trying to pick a fight with them. Another reason that proves that the British are innocent is that Captain Preston was standing in front of his soldiers. In addition, there was a misfire which led to the start of the soldiers to shoot. They also fired because they believed that Captain

The Boston Massacre This is Tyair Sallam, reporting live from Boston, in position to inform news upon the Boston "Bloody" Massacre across the colonies. The British had repealed almost all of the Townshend Acts! The repeal of the Townshend Acts brought peace and stability to the colonies, but only temporarily. Colonist newspapers portrays the British as tyrants, "lobster backs", who are willing to kill people who stood up for their rights. Bostonians referred to the British troops stationed there as "lobster backs" due to the red coats they wore.
According to the engraving (painting) in document three the British soldiers are portrayed like murderers. The soldiers had a huge advantage over the colonists since they were armed, skilled and organized. Ready to aim and kill anyone that got in their way, the soldiers took no chances and fired up uncontrollably. This attack left many colonists wounded and several of them died. Colonists were just throwing snowballs at them but the soldiers reacted way out of place.
Today the bloody massacre happend in boston. There was a group of protesters throwing snowballs, sticks, and stones at a squad of British soldiers. They responded by shooting into the riot of people. The event ended up killing 3 people and right now they say that 8 others are wounded. The presence of the British in Boston is becoming more and more unwelcome.
Then the colonist made it seem that it was the soldiers fault by writing articles and drawing pictures. I know this because if you see the image that Paul Revere about the Boston Massacre it shows how the colonist are just standing there begging for mercy but it seems that the soldiers are being mischievous by killing the colonist. This picture was drawn by Paul Revere, this image was made in Boston. This supports my evidence because Paul Revere was in a group called “Our Sons of Liberty” which was against the British Government, so Paul made it seem like it was all the soldiers fault because they are shooting the “innocent” colonists. Many people saw this article and image so they decided to join the colonists side and they when against the soldiers by stop buying all British
Many British acts had angered the colonists. For instance, the Sugar Act was a law passed by Parliament in 1764, that placed tax on sugar, molasses, and other products shipped to the colonies. Colonists became angry because of taxation without representation which they thought was not right because they weren't represented in Parliament. Also, in 1765, a law passed by Parliament required all legal and commercial documents to carry an official stamp showing a tax had been paid. Again, the colonists protested about “taxation without representation” and they began boycotting goods and attacked customs officials.
The Boston Massacre is an event most Americans and British students learn about over the course of their education. In America, we learn that British soldiers fired upon innocent civilians, although this may not have been the case. British historians have referred to the Boston Massacre as the "Incident on King Street". After looking over the "Captain Thomas Preston 's Account of the Boston Massacre", as well as "Boston Massacre Trial Depositions" I believe that American historians should refer to the "Boston Massacre" as the "Incident on King Street". The definition of a massacre refers to an unnecessary and random killing of a large number of individuals.
The Boston Massacre was a street fight that occurred on March 5, 1770, between a “patriot”. They were throwing sticks, snowballs, and trash at a group of British troops. The loyalists got very annoyed with the patriots so they shot into the mob killing five. The riot began when around 50 colonists attacked a British sentinel. A British officer called in for additional troops
The British fought to defend themselves. They had no intentions of getting back at the colonists for their misdeeds. The colonists should also be held accountable for the first shot, because the British didn 't plan ahead to specifically target the colonists. Though, the Colonists purposely targeted the British. I believe
There were many disagreements and because of those, many events were the cause of the American Revolution. When American Revolution was over with the The Declaration of Independence came into place, treaties were signed, and the Bill of Rights. Now these effects/events were amazing, it helped our country tremendously.
