Cultural diversity had been a fundamental element of the great achievements and successes of Australians. Almost one in four (24%) of the current population were born overseas and 43% of the population have at least one parent born overseas. (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2012) These statistics are huge and surely have to make some different or have some significance.
