Dan is experiencing a large amount of stress in his life. Most of the stress that he is experiencing is coming from work. Some of the sources of stress that are causing him trouble are several co-workers with a lot of experience leaving, having a new manager getting transferred in, and a rough patch in his at home relationships. The reason that the leaving of co-workers caused stress is because now a lot of their work was put on the employees still there, which included Dan. That increase in work can cause stress by itself. Having a new manager being transferred in caused stress because the manager lacks knowledge of housing, he changed the way things are done, and limited the amount of decisions that the employees could make. Dan’s main resources are his co-workers, manager, and his girlfriend. In the first video, Dan had a lack of resources in the first video because his co-workers left, his manager had a lack of knowledge when it came to the job, and his girlfriend was worried about the future and support that his job gave them. In the second video, we find out that Dan has access to resources such as talking to his manager, his co-workers after he has been proactive in being in contact with them, and we can only assume that his girlfriend has supported him getting back to …show more content…

Dan’s first three months out of the office included him not taking any action after leaving the office. He says that nothing has changed. Dan says that he was not able to cope when he was in the office and he is not able to cope now. He feels like no one cared about him because no one has kept in contact with him throughout his time being gone. Another outcome from leaving work was the stress that is caused between Dan and his girlfriend. Because Dan does not have much to do, he mopes around the house, which his girlfriend does not like. Dan’s initial behavioral outcomes do not look promising because he is not being proactive with his stress
