The two party system and no party system both have positive and negative advantages. The two party system will give you a general political philosophy; it gives people an identity. People can congregate with others who will have the same attitude, or outlook towards politics. They will identify as that specific party and other people will know what their overall thoughts on politics are. The two parties both have their own political issues and it’s good for elections. You will be able to see how each candidate will handle the current predicament based on their respective parties. Only democrats and republicans get media coverage and the other candidates in third political parties are ignored. They will rarely get any media coverage so they aren’t very well known. Multiple party systems will work better because the two party system is no longer effective. The no party system won’t sustain either. Someone will have the idea to create a political group again. We can’t stop people from being in a political group. Ultimately, it’s up to the individual. With the multiple party system, we won’t have to mainly focus on the two parties: democratic and republican. They get most of the media coverage because the United States is a two party system.
