The foundation of the United States is built on three unelidable rights. Those rights include the right to life, the right to liberty, and the right to pursue happiness. Arguably the most important right given to Americans is the right to liberty, which is the state of being free of oppression. In an effort to protect this right, and many other important freedoms enjoyed by the citizens of the United States, the founding fathers set up a legislature in which all citizens of the nation received representation that was fair and equal. The United States Congress features a bicameral system which included the House of Representatives and the United States Senate. Both the House and the Senate are integral for passing legislation, but both have their own ways of operating. These differences between each body helps ensure that legislatures can focus on different issues, and hold different roles in the legislative process. The House of Representatives has a focus on domestic issues, it is the Congressional body that is set up to deal more with the internal affairs of the nation. The House initiates revenue bills, begins impeachment proceedings, and focuses more on national issues. The Senate also discusses issues that plague the United States, and plays a major domestic roll, but the House is really where the focus of those issues are. In many ways, the structure of the House, and the style of legislating is set up to ensure that people get a say, because of that it makes more sense that the House would be the body that focuses more on issues facing the United States. Many of the financial bills begin in the House and go through its many committees, and subcommittees, before making it to the Senate and the Executive. The domestic focused agenda of the House helps Representatives ensure that their districts are being respected when dealing with issues that face the nation, and ensures that solutions to national issues are found with the people in
