The main idea of this entry is about the stereotypes that come along with racism. Also, Brent Staples wants his readers to realize how much colored people sacrifice from their normality in order to fit in with society, in hopes of not being attacked or offended. The author proves this in his entry by mentioning ‘innocent’ behaviors, such as singing Beethoven, that he did in public in order to relief those surrounding him from danger. Moreover, the author compared hikers to the country’s bears in order to provide readers with a valid connection between black and colored people. How can a parent tell his/her child he/she cannot go to an amusement park or how white people hate them because of their color of their skin. In addition, he writes about how embarrassing it is to see signs that say “white” and “colored” and how black people are told “boy” “nigger” instead of their name or Mr/Mrs.. He argues that they don't understand because they do not have to face this type of discrimination and cruelty. His argument is, essentially, tapering in into their inner sensitivity. He wants them to imagine them self in the shoes of an African American and feel, hear, and sense the injustice, so they can understand why it is time to stop waiting and to take action.
In the book There Are No Children Here written by Alex Kotlowitz, there is a paragraph where he is conveying a cultural bias placed between people of middle class citizens and people with the misfortune of being born into poverty. In this paragraph he writes, The youngsters had heard that the suburb-bound commuters, from behind the tinted train windows, would shot at them for trespassing on the tracks. One of the boys certain that the commuters were crack shots, burst into tears as the train whisked by. Some of the commuters had heard similar rumors about the neighbor-hood children and worried that, like the cardboard lions in a carnival shooting gal-lery, they might be the target of talented snipers.
All throughout Tatum’s article she puts the emotional hardships for the kids in every argument she makes. Tatum uses a personal encounter from a young girl who said she always found it odd that she was the only black girl in her honors classes. (p13) This story particularly plays on the emotions because the girl adds that her school was 35 percent black. To the reader hearing that a girl is a standout in her classes is extremely sad because we all have memory of ourselves being alone and this story triggers those emotions. Knowing the girl is the only one of her racial identity in her class could be intimidating, and make her feel alone or as if she doesn’t belong, and that is what triggers the reader’s emotions.
“Kids know Nothing about racism. They’re taught that by adults,” say’s Ruby Bridges. Ruby’s life at home, how her education impacted her family, how her education helped, the stress she was going through and how she fixed it, and her life after school. Ruby Bridges discrimination in going to school changed how people looked at kids and especially black kids at school. In fact her home life wasn’t bad.
In the book The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, there are many themes that demonstrate satire. One of the themes is racism. There are many examples of racism in this book that portray the use of satire. One example of racism is when Mark Twain makes fun of the feud between the Grangerfords and the Shepardsons. “When I got down out of the tree I crept along down the river bank a piece, and found the two bodies laying in the edge of the water, and tugged at them till I got them ashore; then I covered up their faces, and got away as quick as I could.

In looking at the main family of the book, the Finches, they are part of the high standing class. And, as according to Aunt Alexandra, they, as a family, are above everyone.
To begin, on the first day of school, one of the Ewell children acts out, and Scout tells her teacher, “ ‘He’s one of the Ewells, ma’am,’ and I wondered if this explanation would be as unsuccessful as my attempt . . . You’re supposed to mark ‘em absent the rest of the year…’” (Lee 24). Much like how the Ewell children deal with education inequality because of their social class, studies demonstrate that education inequality in the United States stems primarily from social class, and children who start with an educational disadvantage tend to remain at a disadvantage, influencing their entire life trajectory (Garcia and Weiss). Just like the Ewell children missing school for the whole year because of their situation at home, children today still deal with the issues of social class causing education inequality.

The theme of Injustice appears throughout The Hate U Give by people giving hate to each other and judging people based on the color of their skin. For example, “ My parents haven’t raised me to fear the police, just to be smart around them.” (Thomas, 23) This shows that Starr’s Parents teach them how to act around cops to make sure they are safe.

The term inclusion is often seen as simply referring to learners with special needs, where it is interpreted as the ‘complete acceptance of a student with a disability in a regular classroom.’ However the notion can be viewed much more broadly. A common misconception about inclusion is that it is solely about including people with disability in regular sport activities without any modification. (Australian sports commission) However being inclusive is about providing a range of options to cater for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, in the most appropriate manner possible.
