The 1993 movie Jurassic Park is a fictional movie about recreating or cloning dinosaurs. A similar short story called The Sound of Thunder is about hunters who travel back 65 million years to hunt dinosaurs. The movie and story are similar because they are both about human interaction with dinosaurs, which doesn't end well. The Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury was published in 1953 and takes place over 100 years later, in 2005. In this time period, they’ve made time travel a practical reality. A company called Time Safari offers expensive hunting trips that go back 65 million years to hunt dinosaurs. A man named Eckles paid them $10,000.00 to join one of these trips. Travis and the other hunters killed the t-rex and then made Eckels retrieve the bullets since they cannot be left behind. When they arrived back in 2005 they noticed major changes in the language and politics. Eckles tries to make it right, but is shot by an angry Travis. Jurassic Park is a dinosaur theme park located on an island near Costa Rica. In order to recreate the dinosaurs, John Hammond and his team extracted dinosaur DNA from a prehistoric mosquito that was preserved in tree sap. The team believed they figured out how to clone only females so they wouldn't be able to reproduce and take over the island. Many scientists warned Hammond that life will always find a way to reproduce, and this won't end well. Hammond did not take their advice and continued the process of opening the park. While the scientists and Hammond grandchildren tour the park, Hammond watches over them from the control room. The tour ended quickly because of an approaching tropical storm, during the storm employees of the park tried stealing 12 dinosaur embryos. Once the scientists and Hammond's grandchildren make their way back to control, Hammond is ready to leave the island on a
