Imagine being on a space station since birth, the only thing you know to be true are the objects floating around you. These objects floating around you were created on Earth, but yet you do not know the true form of these objects because they are only imitations that are in constant flux of the original object that were place on the space station and before you were born on it and will be there long after you leave the space station. You perceive the objects that are floating around you to be truth, but you do not how this truth came to be since they have been there your whole existence on the space station. From these objects we mistake this for reality. Unless you are able to escape the space station and reach the land where these objects were created, you will never know the true form of the objects floating around you, and the only world you will know is that of the space station. This world of becoming is the Heraclitean theory that everything we know is in constant flux. What we know of this physical world is how we perceive it through our senses as everything is in constant change. In this world of becoming the material objects on the space station are only out abstract ideas, because they are only imitations of the true form of the object that were placed on the space station. From these imitations we are only able to form opinions on what we perceive the true form to be. If we stay on the space station for ever we will never see the true form of the object and will only know what our senses tell us.
