The Korean War occurred from 1 June 25,1950 to July 27th, 1953. It is sometimes known as the Forgotten War, as World War II over shadowed it. It began when North Korea invaded South Korea. The United States and the United States helped aid South Korea, while China and the Soviet Union gave assistance to North Korea. There are a variety of reasons of what the successes and failures of the Korean War were. I believe the failure of the Korean War was that many people died for no reason.
