“The Talk” Documentary Review The Talk-Race in America documentary filmed in 2017 shows police brutality from differents points of you, and bringing awareness of the tragedies that are occurring currently.The intended audience is for parents, and to inform them on how important it is to have “the talk”, and inform their children on how to act if they ever have any interactions with any type of law enforcement.In this documentary it shows it's never too early to inform your children on what's going on, and how to behave rather than being sorry later. The main focus of this documentary is police brutality and how it is affecting the younger generation of today. The main message of this story is to behave and be respectful no matter in what situation you are in when dealing with police. The documentary take place in different areas in the United States. The segment in Cleveland Ohio catched my attention and kept me watching because of how old the young boy Tamir Rice was when being victimized by police. When the police received the false 911 call of Tamir being a threat it cost him his life. Automatically Rice was judged by his skin color and seen him as a potential harm towards other because of his toy gun. Tamir might have had the ability to protect himself but we would never know because of the police poor judgement. Tamir mother and others in his community were shocked and scared with the sad news they received. People in the community created a free summer camp for children in Tamir’s neighborhood and family to cope with their emotions because children and people of America are scared of law enforcement and them blankly killing innocent people based off their
