Family Vision

The Teague family’s view once they have achieved better accommodations for Yolanda would be that they could go back to some of the routines and go back to some of the activities that they once enjoyed. Teresa would like to go back to Curves, as she likes the women that she has met there and would like to talk to them again while working out. David would like to go back to being able to take his family out to dinner even occasionally. Michael would like to have more freedom as he now cannot go to things, as Yolanda cannot be left alone. The people at the nursing home would have more experience in dealing with the elderly. This would help in the desired change because the Teague family would still be able to have the routines that they had before but just include visits to see Yolanda. The evidence is that Yolanda does need around the clock care but does not make enough money to pay for a place that can care for her and the family does not have the extra money to help pay for such a place. Even if all three of Yolanda’s children helped in some way it would still be difficult.
