In the story The Tell-Tale Heart, by author Edgar Allan Poe, he fills it with a lot of suspense. The suspense is created by the dark, mysterious setting and the insane character. The narrator loved the old man, he had never done him wrong, he had never insulted him. But how come a thought of the old man kept the narrator up every night? It was the old man's eye, it seemed almost evil. Because of this, the narrator decided to take the life out of the old man. However, he claimed he wasn’t mad, he wasn’t crazy! The narrator planned everything out to the second. After the murder the narrator cut all the old man's limbs off and hid them under the floor boards. The police questioned the narrator the next day, he did great at covering himself
