Tyranny. What is tyranny, exactly? Tyranny is basically forced power taken by someone; usually, tyranny took place in the government, although it could happen everywhere. Tyranny was, as mentioned earlier, was a big deal. At that point in time, the government had three branches. The executive branch, a.k.a., the President, the Judicial branch, the Supreme Court, and the Legislative (Congress) branch, House of Representatives and Senates, all had their own powers, making tyranny ‘disappear’, although it could still possibly happen. During the late 1700’s to early 1800’s, tyranny was guarded by the government’s ‘rules’. The government kept each branch separate but attached. This meaning that the branches could check on each other and make sure
