The Truman Show This was the first time I had ever watched the Truman Show in its entirety. I found it to be very entertaining and bring up a lot of philosophical questions. This movie wanted us to think about our existence and what we perceived to be real. I found it to be very interesting. It's crazy to think that you could live our whole life without questioning the way you live it. This movie wants you to think about the way you live and if it is true. You can compare The Truman Show to Plato's Allegory of the Cave in many ways. First, Truman could be compared to the escaped prisoner. The both slowly realize that their beliefs are false. The fake world, inside the dome that Truman lives in, would be the cave. They both contain the prisoner
