The United State’s Constitution has a total of seven articles. Each article outlines different things, mainly the powers of the government. Some of the articles help determine the correct path when amendments need to be made, as the founding father saw fit that the United States would change and grow into the country that it is today. The articles are descriptive and tell of what the government is to be and how it will be conducted. These details make it easy for us to understand what exactly our government is supposed to be.

The first article, Article I, outlines the powers of the legislature. It talks about some of the powers, such as: the power to make laws, the power to declare war, the power to collect taxes, the power to coin money, and the power to punish pirates. The power of the Legislature is descriptively written in this article and is done so, so that there are as few misinterpretations as possible. Article five is perhaps one of the most significant articles in the constitution. Article five entails how to amend the constitution, a vital step in becoming the nation we are today. As time passes by, change occurs, the seasons change things die, and new ones grow. The same is for our country. As time passes the country changes and develops, thus there is a need for amendments to the constitution. As our technology develops, safety with it is important, for example cars. We are required, by law, to wear seatbelts. This law was not just made, it was imposed to be an amendment, or at least become part of one that ensures safety.
