Film industry involves people working in different kind of filmmaking stages such as pre-production, production and post-production that aims to make good films for us. In contrast, theatre industry comprises business that exhibits movies to help to tell a story and educate audiences. (Ibisworld, 2017).

In recent years, with the rapid development of the Internet, more and more films are promoted via social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. Using social media marketing strategies can help the film and theatre industry attract more potential customers in the future.

The marketing of movie is very important in the film and theatre industry. The reason is that making a film requires huge amount of money and resources. Without proper marketing strategies, a film would not naturally go well in the public.
