In Book eight and nine of Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics Aristotle addresses the topic of friendship. Aristotle’s argument is that friends should be regarded as second selves. Aristotle believes that as virtuous behavior improves an individual, friendship has the potential to make improvements in each other’s lives.
Yet, in the plot, we see several brief shifts within characters that cause them to navigate outside of Aristotle’s theory and quickly morphing back to the structure of Aristotle’s ten basic concepts. Muthos represents the modern terminology for “plot.” Aristotle defines it as, “the representation of the action...the structure of incidents...the origin... some are simple and some are complex” (93-95). In comparison to the plot of “The One with Unagi”, there are several indications of the plot on the chronological timeline.
It is common for teens to not want to feel connected to their parents in their teen years. While this phenomenon is common, it does not often have positive results. The coming-of-age novel, Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, by Benjamin Alire Sáenz illustrates how parental communication is most important to a developing teen. This is seen through the positive aftermath of Aris's much-belated conversation about his sexuality with his parents, and how they help to not feel ashamed about his own identity.

Aristotle is one of the greatest ancient Greek philosophers. One of his best works is Poetics. Aristotle defines what is a tragedy …etc.(what talks abt) A tragedy consists of six component parts, which are listed here in order from most important to least important: plot, character, thought, diction, melody, and spectacle. A well-formed plot must be unified, meaning that every element of the plot should tie in to the rest of the plot, leaving no loose ends. This kind of unity allows tragedy to express universal themes powerfully, which makes it superior to history, which can only talk about particular events.
