Obsessions of the Hunt Hunting has always been a part of humanity, but in the short story “The Most Dangerous Game,” by Richard Connell, one man takes the hunt too far. A world renowned hunter named Rainsford is put to the test when he became the prey to a man named General Zaroff. As Rainsford runs and hides for his life, the general gleefully hunts him down.
