While having gratitude, integrity, and the ability to encourage in a time of doubt, a leader is able to step up and should be ready to look out for others regardless of how difficult the challenge may be. They are the one who takes the lead and guides his comrades. Scouller’s text mentions three aspects of leadership that are mentioned in Shakespeare’s play “Henry V”. Approximately, leadership includes, having goals, showing and not telling, and inspiring confidence.

Scouller’s first claim is “They know what goals they want to accomplish and what propels them” (Scouller). Shakespeare’s “Henry V” shows Henry was the man with a plan, which is what Scouller means when he says a leader has goals. Training his soldiers with bows and arrows. He was prepared for battle. By being able to shoot arrows 250 yards, his soldiers could reach out and touch enemies with a large technological advantage. Next, he tells his men we must fight or die when he says “close up the wall with our English dead” (Shakespeare). FInally, he delivers speeches before his men go into battle.
