Macbeth is the tragic play by Shakespeare that tells a story about a king by the same name who shows what power and influence can do to a good man's psych. Macbeth does the unspeakable in many situations throughout the story but is this his own doing or could it be someone else's influence? How much of what he's done is his fault? The story of Macbeth begins on a battlefield with Macbeth and his friend Banquo as a bloody battle ensues. They come out victorious and see three witches who tell them a prophecy about their future and their family. This was the beginning of Macbeth's decline into insanity. He starts to become conflicted because he knows if this prophecy comes true the current king must be killed. Macbeth sends word of the prophecy
