Margaret Lazarus’ essay All’s Not well in Land of the Lion King details her opinion in the classic Disney movie. She states how she believes the movie is racist, sexist, and anti-gay. While it’s not difficult to see where she’s coming from, most of her points are far-fetched at best. Another major point Lazarus tried to make clear in her essay is that The Lion King is sexist. Her main concern was that the obviously very strong lionesses were not able to fight back against Scar and the hyenas.

The main reason that lead the American colonist to get into a conflict with the British Parliament, was the lack of proper communication between the America and England. Although the sail boats sailed regularly and scheduled back and forth between London and different colonial ports of America, the trip to the Atlantic took huge time. I think that the relationship between England and the American colonies could not been saved, because of their basis relationship. England practiced a policy to rule their own colonies, which American colonies had took an advantage of it and created their own form of self-government. The relationship stayed as long as the Americans would provide materials and revenue to the British and the British would leave
People talk to others,it is how they communicate with one other. It helps people express their feelings. If they don’t want to share with basically the entire world then they share with their best friend. In the book Lions of Little Rock, Marlee does that with her best friend Liz .I think the theme is that friendship is worth taking risks. I think that because all throughout the story both Marlee and Liz display this theme.
In William Golding's The Lord of the Flies, boys trapped on an island turn into deranged savages and kill each other after they fail to follow the rules of their made-up tribe. Cruelty is used by Golding as a way to communicate his theme which could be that cruelty is in nearly everybody, but civilization’s laws and control prevent that trait from prevailing. The author leaves some evidence of him trying to convey this theme throughout the book. A part of the book that shows this theme being shown would be the demise of Piggy and civilization.

Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are two very well produced movies from him, which feature common themes shown with appropriate cinematic elements. Tim Burton uses tilt, low key lighting, and non-diegetic sounds in Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to convey how creepiness can lead to curiosity. Tilts are generally used to show the vertical significance of something.
