Themes in a story help to describe what the book is about. It does this in the book Night by helping describe what World War 2 was like for the Jews. It also helps to see what the people in the camps went through. My two themes from night are imprisonment and survival. The first one I will talk about is imprisonment, then i’ll talk about survival.

Every character in the book did things that I don't think I could have done if I was in there shoes. The level of bravery Sylv and Autumn shoed in the auditorium with the shooter was amazing.

When Beddor makes this change it shows a significance of many themes that can also be found in war. Like good v evil with Redd, Alyss and Dodge showing the two friendships but for Redd hate a power. A character that shows the significance of good v evil is Alyss and Redd.

The story is switched around and now Alyss was born in the beautiful queendom of Wonderland and is forced to live in the busy country of England. Alyss is brought back to Wonderland, determined, ready to take back her throne. Beddor uses varieties of themes during The Looking Glass Wars that give the book a whole nother side of the story.

There were three major themes that persisted throughout Priscilla Cummings' book, Red Kayak. The first theme was the endurance of loss and remorse. The second theme was that actions have consequences. The last theme was don't follow in someone else's shadow when they're doing something they shouldn't be.
The first theme shows how that native americans were treated badly. In the story, Brigadier General Patrick E. Connor announced in July that the Indians North of the platte River “must be hunted like dogs.” There were many times in the book where it locked like the Indians were being targeted by everyone. It said, “When the bluecoats gunfire grew too overwhelming, the Sioux would draw away”, so that shows that even after they tried to quit the bluecoats still fired. Even though they were treated like crap, They still didn’t give up.
