I appreciate how the author of Discover Sociology Christian Partin defines a theoretical framework. That it is a philosophical position for asking certain kinds of question about society and its people (2015). To develop some answers and comprehensive understanding, each sociology founder had a different view and debated on three major theoretical perspectives which are symbolic interactionist perspective, functionalist perspective, and the conflict perspective. The symbolic interactionist perspective is a social interaction where people read meanings when interacting, especially during a verbal conversation with spoken words as the symbols.
