We all need to critical thinking whenever we are reading, watching and listening to things, it is a vital skill for students, employees, citizens and everyone really. In college you develop critical thinking skills because, many theories and ideas are presented, and you are made think about these theories and ideas, it allows are to agree or disagree with them, which shows that you are becoming a critical thinking. How I was feeling before the experiences, I would of read a lot of topics and just believe what I was reading and not really question it because that would have been more work for me and make things harder for me. During the project I started seeing that some information didn’t look right, compared to the rest so I started thinking, is this all true, where did I get it, is it a trusted website or book. Also I had to give my opinion on the theories of aging so I had to question the information by getting more information to back everything up, which made me start critical think about the topic. During the experiences my reacting was that, so many sources are actually not true and that we should never just believe what we are told, you should have your own ideas. After I was finish the project, I didn’t just learn about the elderly but about how important it is to question everything and don’t just believe it because it’s not always the truth and that I should only use sources that are trusted by the

The information was good so I could write loads about the topic I was researching, which meant the quality of the assignment was a lot better, which gave me a better grade. What didn’t go well during this project was, that it took me longer and become a lot harder because I had to question everything I was reading. This probably ended up putting extra hours on how long it would usually take me. I found it very hard to know what sources to trust and what ones not to trust, because they all look pretty good, so I had to put all the informant together and see what matched up, which took a lot of time, and added a bit more stress on me. When I got the project finish, I was confident that it was a good researched project, that I knew the information was all true and of good quality, and was confident that I would do well on it.
