: I learned that a research paper that’s a combination of information that you find by doing research and your own ideas to prove a thesis statement. I learned how to make a convincing argument on why should marijuana be legal. I had to consider some research questions such as what do I know about this topic? What else do I need to know? And what do I want my audience to learn from my research? I had to make a thesis for my essay and some topic sentences for each paragraphs. My thesis helped for me to take a position on my paper and it helped for me to prove my research.
