Human life is full of decisions. We use critical thinking in our everyday life in order to come to conclusions or decisions. We may not even know we are using deductive reasoning, but we use it more often than we think. We often think that other people’s reasoning is faulty, without even taking into account that maybe our own thinking/reasoning may be flawed. Faith also has a part in logic, but many times we put it on the wrong part of the process. We know what we want to believe, so we come to the conclusion that it must be true. We need to recognize what method of reasoning we are using.

Justin waited up for Tessa. He asked Tessa to stop whatever she was doing with Arnold. He had no idea that they were working together to bring to light the side effects of Dypraxa to stop the drug trials. He just wanted them to stop whatever they were doing. Tessa then asks Justin, “Who have you been talking to (Caine 31)?” Justin simply explains to her that they were his own concerns. But she didn’t believe him and went on to say, “They’ve asked you to rein me in. The Three Bees want Tessa to stop. So, Justin knows about her work and is working with the Company to stop her from bringing her report to light. This also is an example of deductive reasoning. But we soon find out that Justin was not working with the Three Bees to try to stop her. In fact, they were concerns of his own. Tessa coming to the conclusion that Justin was working with the Three Bees to stop her was an example of false classification. The Three Bees want to stop Tessa from doing her work with Arnold. Justin wants Tessa to stop hanging out with Arnold. Because Justin wants Tessa to stop doing whatever she is doing with Arnold, Tessa believes Justin is doing as the Three Bees says. But in reality he just wants Tessa to stop hanging out with Arnold. It is unsettling and upsetting to him and he wishes it would
