Thomas Marsden are an agency based in Penrith and they serve clients both nationally and locally. The company was founded in 1972 establishing the company as a certified advertising and graphic company. The company is able to work very close with clients to create what the client wants and to provide professional assistance.

Background
Thomas Marsden was created in 1972 by co-founders Geoffrey ‘Thomas’ Dollin and Phillip ‘Marsden” Morehead, hence the company’s name Thomas Marsden. Both were trained in graphic design and advertising and they left the Myer group together to start their own advertising and graphic design company.

Neither of the men had any experience and business and due to the small amount of money they had access to the company was started in an old chicken shed in the back of a farm in St Mary. They didn't have access to printers or even phones as they needed to use a public phone box on the street. After this major move more employees came in including more graphic designers and account service personnel. Some larger clients were partnered with Thomas Marsden and they were granted advertisement requests in larger medias with some convincing.

The biggest move was made in 1989 as the business was too large for the St Marys office so the business was relocated to High Street Penrith where they are still located. With the move the company also purchased computer for graphic design. This was a major expense to the company as computers were new and extremely expensive.
As technology advanced the company advanced and it has come to the point where it is now. One of the founders, Phillip Morehead, retired in 2007 and moved on from the company and Geoff Dollin and his son Shamus Dollin keep the company
