An Analysis of Three Messages from Emerson “Be yourself because everyone else is already taken.” Many people in today's society try to be someone they are not. Some people can fake it, but some people can't handle being themselves. They don't feel like they are good enough for society or if they are even worthy for being out there. There is a man who looks and critics this aspect of people and his name is Emerson. Humans can be compared to nature as they are the senses of nature. We are they eyes that follow the pretty things from nature. He also said that great men do not fall to society, meaning that they follow what they know to be true. He also said that great men are misunderstood, people didn't believe in Jesus’s ways but now people see him as a great man.
