Such as Hinduism, Buddhism allows religious divergence. Confucianism changes by living at the same time as the Buddha, when it was created. Christianity is arguably one of the the most influential and important aspects that originated in western civilization. The religion started out as a small sect of Judaism and a man named Jesus spreading his word with a few followers. For centuries, Christians in Rome endured persecution and secret worship. RELIGION CAUSES MORE HAARM THAN GOOD TO SOCIETY Religion according to the oxford dictionary is the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power especially a personal God or gods. Every human being in one way or the other belongs to a particular religion. Since religion makes us worship one God then it should be binding all of us. Actually it is not, it rather tears people apart day in and day out .It is true that religion has influenced society positively in diverse ways, but the bad outweighs the good. Thus I think religion causes more harm than good to the society.
In studying globalization, one major factor that always tends to be present is the role of religion. Undoubtedly, religion played a part in shaping cities/regions, however, it should not take credit for being the force that single-handedly unified people of different faiths. Rather, in viewing religious beliefs and practices, we should not perceive it as something that is black or white in terms of how it shaped or drove phases of globalization. Many outside factors such as trade and power should also be included when discussing the forces behind globalization and unification between two different groups of people.
